This afternoon, we met with the Maldives Customs Service to discuss the possibility of taking part in the ATA Carnet system. Participation would create new and easier paths for temporary goods brought to the Maldives.
We signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce this morning. The ceremony was held online and saw the participation of MNCCI Vice President Ashiya, and board members Varish, Munal, and Khadeeja.
This morning, we met with the ambassador-designate of Colombia, Her Excellency Mariana Pachecho Montes. The discussion focused on the prospects of enhancing business relations between the Maldives and Colombia. MNCCI board member Khadeeja attended the meeting.
