A meeting with her Excellency Ms. Jacquline Mukangira, High Commissioner of Rwanda to Maldives and Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI), was held on the 10th of August 2021. The meeting held at the Chamber’s head office, was attended by President of MNCCI Mudhrikath Moosa, Vice President Ismail Asif and board member Munal Shujau. It was a productive conversation between the two parties as her Excellency Ms. Jacquline Mukangira expressed interest in strengthening the bonds between Rwanda and the Maldives by creating opportunities in tourism and investment between the two countries. The conversation also highlighted similarities that the two countries share in terms culture and Maldivian ancestry. These similarities are segue to a potential shared economic growth if both countries worked together to build their business sectors.
