The Advisor of MNCCI Ms. Najula Mohamed met with the DMDI President Mr. Tan Sri Haji Mohd Ali Bin Mohd Rustam. Tan Sri Haji Mohd Ali Bin Mohd Rustam was the Former Chief Minister of State of Malacca, Malaysia and the Founding President of Dunia Melayu Dunia Islam (DMDI).
Dunia Melayu Dunia Islam (DMDI) is a Malaysian organization which discusses the importance of areas such as economy, education, culture, science and technology, innovation. The organization has 19 branches all over the world. Including Canada, Australia, China, Singapore, United Kingdom etc, and is opening a branch here in Maldives. The Maldives chapter of DMDI aims to explore and engage in areas of mutual benefit. Especially in the field of Sharia-compliant tourism, and in finance which is my background. As for education and investments, we met the Education Minister this morning to discuss information technology, women empowerment and youth empowerment.
DMDI Maldives held an Inauguration Ceremony on 9th August 2016 giving the chance for companies and investors to take part in the event.
