The Science Fair 2014, “Success through experiments” was held on 14th November with a total of 41 exhibits from 5 Schools with approximately 250 student’s participation.

The Exhibits were divided into 4 Categories which are; Lower Primary Category, Primary Category, Secondary Category and Higher Secondary Category.

The exhibits were Judged by Mr. Jawish Hameedh.

Jamaaluddin School won the best exhibit of the exhibition which won them a trip to National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in America which would be funded entirely by MNCCI.

Ghiyaasuddin International School won the best school of the exhibition with a total of 5 awards participating in 3 categories.

The Vice president of MNCCI spoke at the awarding ceremony and highlighted that the main reason why Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industries organised such an exhibition for students.

Our Judge, Jawish Hameedh spoke at the ceremony as well. He highlighted some of the main points the students should keep in mind while preparing their projects for the next exhibition. And gave the students some tips on how to improve their Science Projects.

The Science Fair ended on 18th November which successfully show cased the student’s creativity and talents. MNCCI hopes to host more of these fairs in the coming years as well.
