During the visit to China by Our president and Vice president of MNCCI, on 28th January 2010 a collaboration MOU was signed between Maldives Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce. The agreement was signed in the South Asian – Sichuan Business promotion Seminar, which was organized by the CCPIT Council of Sichuan in Chengdu.
Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industry agreed to set up the Afghanistan-Maldives Chamber of Commerce and Industry in order to provide a forum for more systematic business promotional activities in trade, investment, technology transfer, services and other industrial sectors. The Afghanistan-Maldives Chamber of Commerce and Industry agreement will provide a regular and recognized platform for discussion on promotion of these activities between businessmen and industrialists of the two countries.
