On the 15th of January 2010 MNCCI has presented its first ever Green Business Award to the owners of Six senses Resorts and Spa. The Occasion took place on the white sandy beach of Soneva gilli resort in a very unique and wonderful setup.
The awards were Handed over by honorable minister of environment Mr. Mohamed Aslam and received by the owners of Soneva fushi and Soneva gilli resorts and spa Mr. Sonu Shrivadhashni and Ms. Eva Shrivadhashni. After the applauding movement Mr.Mohamed Aslam praised the well managed, countless effort taken by the owners of Six senses on rebuilding the island from junk into a village of natural beauty with a surrounding filled with the fragrance of environmental friendliness. Further on his speech he thanked the two owners for their contribution towards the development of the tourism industry of the Maldives taking it as a personal matter.
