The foundation for constructing a roundabout at former Gadi Buru location has been laid. The foundation was laid by the guest of honor of the ceremony, one of the prominent business men and a very active member of Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) ,the managing director of Coastline Investment Mr.Hussein Mohamed .The ceremony was held on 31st May 2010, 1700hrs.The ceremony was attended by the President of Male’ Municipality Mr. Adam Manik, Parliament members ,senior officials of Male’ Municipality ,Vice president and executive committee members of MNCCI .
Under its CSR initiative MNCCI has under taken to build sports facilities, parks and other public welfare related facilities in different locations of Male’. The construction of roundabout was one of the projects under the current initiative. With these undertakings MNCCI aims to set forth an example and to encourage the corporate community to be socially responsible by contributing to solve various issues in the society.
