The Pre-inaugural ceremony of MNCCI and Holiday Inn Male’ Science Exhibition 2010, to be held from 9-11th June, was held today at Aminiyya School. The guest of honour of the ceremony was Vice President of Maldives H.E.Dr Muhammad Waheed Hassan Manik. Hon. Minister of education, Heads of participating schools, management members of Hoilday Inn Male’, representatives from leading business companies in Maldives and senior students from schools attended the ceremony.
A total of 12 schools participated in the SF 2010 by the deadline. MNCCI has decided to help upgrade the teaching facilities and donate teaching aids to participating schools in recognition of their efforts to provide better education to children of our nation. Teaching aids were donated to Amminiyya school in today’s ceremony. The donations were received by the school captain Ms. Manal. Speaking at the ceremony the 1st Vice president of MNCCI Mr. Ismail Asif gave assurance of the commitment of its management and staff towards helping the education sector of Maldives.
