MMOPC is categorized into the following three different classifications;
1. Category A.
MADE IN MALDIVES ORIGINAL CRAFT PRODUCER
This Category is targeted to the individual manufacturers of crafts.
1.1 Sub category A-2
MADE IN MALDIVES ORIGINAL PRODUCT PRODUCER.
Which is targeted individuals manufacturing all items other than local crafts.
2. Category B.
MADE IN MALDIVES ORIGINAL CRAFT MANUFACTURER.
This category is targeted to shops and industrial activity centers, where manufacturing of crafts is done by more than one person.
2.2 Sub category B-2
MADE IN MALDIVES ORIGINAL PRODUCT MANUFACTURER.
This category is targeted to shops and industrial activity centers, where manufacturing of any item other then the in category B are manufactured.
3. Category C.
MADE IN MALDIVES CARBON FREE PRODUCTS SELLER.
This category is targeted to shops or sales outlets, where exclusively locally manufactured products of particular classification are sold. All product types in a shop with this certification category will be assessed for its manufacturing method. This category is a very prestigious level of MMOPC certification.
MNCCI logo along with the “Made in Maldives Hologram” will be issued to the certified suppliers, sellers and producers of the authentic Maldivian Products.
